Our Core Standards

When we receive new raw materials, we place them in a designated quarantine where they are kept apart from raw materials that have already been approved. Until all testing procedures and documentation are finished, only staff members who collect samples for testing are allowed to handle the materials in this area. Additionally, they cannot be sent to clients or used in production.
There could be multiple containers of the same product in a single shipment of raw materials. In order to ensure that the entire supply meets our quality standards, we take samples from each container. These samples are then combined into a composite sample and sent to an outside independent laboratory for analysis.
Each sample goes through a number of evaluations. A product is subjected to various analyses depending on its chemical composition and other characteristics. A product’s data sheet will list the tests that were conducted as well as our minimal standards. The public can view each product’s specifications on the product listing page.
Each batch of raw materials and each production lot of finished goods is assigned a unique batch tracking number (Batch #), which aids in our ability to locate each batch during the production, quarantine, and after-purchase phases.
This is done to ensure that our products are consistent, transparent, and uphold the highest standards of quality across all stages of fulfillment.
Each batch number corresponds to a reliable Certificate of Analysis (COA). Each finished item’s batch number is visible on its label. The COAs and lab reports for your product can be found in the third-party analysis section of the product listing.
The term “batch purity reports” refers to collections of raw materials that require accurate measurement and identification. Potency audits make sure that a liquid product’s concentration won’t deviate from the label’s stated value by more than 10%.
Every batch of every product is sent to an outside, independent lab to be examined for contaminants, impurities, and overall purity. As a secondary layer of validation, we also conduct our own in-house first-party analysis using similar high-standard analytical procedures to confirm the third-party results.
Reviewing Results & Rejections
The documents are compared to the material specifications after the third-party tests are completed to determine whether they pass or fail. Any material that doesn’t meet a specification is subject to additional testing by a third party. If one or more specifications fail the additional testing, the material will be rejected. If it’s not possible to return the item to the vendor, we will dispose of it safely. We only finish the internal release process if the material satisfies all requirements.
We deploy various state-of-the-art laboratory testing techniques depending on a compound’s physical and chemical traits:
Purity and Identification Using HPLC
Most organic compounds are purified using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). When a single molecule or class of molecules can be assayed, this method is used. In HPLC, a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture is passed through a column filled with adsorbent using high-pressure pumps. This separates the parts of the sample based on how strongly they stick to the adsorbent. The separated components are then measured using an ultraviolet light detector. Based on the sequence in which the components leave the column, the detector logs the retention times, using the peak area to compute exact compound purity.
Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)
Used for thermal and purity analysis by measuring a sample’s mass change over time as temperature changes. This reveals phase changes, thermal decomposition, and solid-gas reactions (oxidation/reduction).
UV-Vis Spectroscopy
Uses light in the visible and nearby ultraviolet range. A light beam passes through the analyte solution to determine sample composition and purity by measuring which wavelengths are absorbed.
FTIR Spectroscopy
Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy gathers high-resolution spectral data simultaneously over a broad range to identify solid, liquid, or gas chemical structure changes in response to infrared light.
Chemical Reagent Assay
Used in circumstances where other methods are not suitable, registering physical color/phase shifts when a known reagent is introduced into a solution containing the target analyte.
