Product Details: Oxytocin (Nasal Spray)
Oxytocin is a nonapeptide composed of nine amino acids. It is primarily synthesized in hypothalamic neurons, particularly within the supraoptic and paraventricular nuclei, and is released through the posterior pituitary in biological systems.
In addition to central production, oxytocin Nasal Spray has been identified in peripheral tissues such as the testes and ovaries. In research settings, oxytocin is being investigated for its potential involvement in neurological, cardiovascular, and metabolic processes in experimental models.
Mechanism of Action
In preclinical and experimental models, oxytocin is studied for its interaction with oxytocin receptors distributed across central and peripheral tissues.
Upon receptor binding, it may influence signaling pathways associated with:
- Social and behavioral responses
- Neurological activity
- Smooth muscle contraction pathways
- Hormonal regulation mechanisms
Researchers are also studying oxytocin nasal spray for its role in modulating stress-related pathways and neuroendocrine signaling under controlled conditions.
