Reduced Glutathione (Nasal Spray) – Product Details
Reduced Glutathione, often referred to as GSH, is a vital tripeptide molecule present in cells. It is composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. GSH plays a critical role in various biological processes, primarily in the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the detoxification of harmful compounds.
Researchers are currently exploring the potential benefits of reduced glutathione as a dietary supplement, particularly due to its exceptional antioxidant properties and its potential to promote skin health. It is important to note, however, that this compound is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of diseases. Its use remains within the realm of scientific investigation.

How Does Reduced Glutathione Work?
Reduced Glutathione functions as a potent antioxidant within cells. It works by neutralizing harmful molecules called free radicals, which can damage cells and contribute to various health issues. GSH accomplishes this by donating electrons to free radicals, thus rendering them harmless. It also plays a central role in the detoxification of various substances, including drugs and harmful chemicals, by binding to them and enabling their removal from the body of research subjects.
Reduced Glutathione Research
Role in cellular redox balance and oxidative stress response
Reduced Glutathione is a critical molecule in the defense against oxidative stress and damage. It helps maintain cellular health by protecting cells and cellular components from damage caused by free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS).
Role in Detoxification Pathways in Experimental Models
GSH is an essential participant in detoxification processes within the liver of animal subjects. It has the potential to assist in metabolizing and neutralizing drugs and toxic compounds, making it crucial for the ability to remove harmful substances.
Effects on Oxidative Stress in Skin Cell Models
Studies have suggested that GSH supplementation can have the potential to improve skin health by reducing oxidative stress and potentially mitigating skin disorders and the effects of UV radiation.
Role in Immune Cell Function in Experimental Systems
Reduced Glutathione plays a potential role in immune system function. It can enhance the function of immune cells, contributing to a stronger immune response and improved defense against infections and diseases.
